Kayla White Wooden Text

In this project, I learned how to make wooden text using image adjustment curves, the text tool, hue and saturation, the gradient tool. I also learned neat and easy ways to make shadows! I don’t know exactly why mine looks a little different from the instructions, but I gave it my best shot anyways.

First, while following the instructions I typed my name over a wooden background. I followed the instructions and cut my name out of the wood. Next, I made text edges and textured them. Then, I continued to follow the instructions and I made shadows for the text. Then, I added shadows to the text sides. After that, I added the shadow for the tree, along with some lighting. Finally, I color and hue corrected.
