Following this tutorial, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REUu3R0LgOM) I created my own rocket! I tried making it more alien and sleek. not bad for my first try! I used all sorts of tools and shapes, listed in the video. It’s pretty fun to follow.

I’ve just started working on the helmet in Maya. I got through every tutorial video, and I’m ready to use that knowledge as I follow along with this part. So far I only put down the image planes.

In this lesson, I learned how to make an interactive menu in Adobe Animate. First,
I made a button. Then I copied the button, changing minor details in order to make the rest of them. Next, I placed in the menu items, that would pop up when the buttons were pressed. Finally, I followed the tutorial in order to code the buttons to open up a menu when clicked on. I did this for each of the buttons. This was pretty easy, except for the fact I accidently put the buttons out of order.

In this project, I used Adobe Illustrator in order to make a vector yeti. I learned how to use shape tools, how to manipulate the shapes, how to add strokes, how to make shadows, and how to add a beveled effect. I couldn’t make the background blue on it’s own, so I opted to make a big blue rectangle instead. After making the Yeti, I made some simple triangle mountains and attempted a gradient effect. I messed up on making the horns and hair, so I struggled somewhat on that.

Today I am simply just adding another expression as a trigger in Character Animator. I have set it up so whenever I press 2, it swaps to this expression for the eyes.

Today I mainly focused on fixing any mouths that had issues, and creating mouths I forgot to include. I added the S mouth because I forgot to create it beforehand. I also adjusted my left arm rig.

In this update, I’m currently rigging the model, in order to try and realistically move the arms.

In this excersise, I learnt and practiced how to use the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I simply watched the video provided for the first excersise, and followed along. Then, I did the other two on my own, following the instructions on the pages.

I created this alternate post for this post here, https://kaylawhite.home.blog/2019/12/13/188/ , because I wanted to show off the soda can’s details a bit more clearly. This is just an alternate version.

In this project I learnt how to use the Photoshop timeline in order to animate a clock.
I followed the instructions, making the white circle, then the blue outline. Next I made the numbers using Broadway font. Then, I made all of the light blue lines. After that, I made all 12 hands in all 12 positions. Then I made the dot in the middle. Finally, I made a Photoshop timeline and animated it.
