Today I made a comic book effect using filters and other tools in Photoshop. I had some trouble with this, as my picture was much bigger than the one in the instructions, and the text box tool kept using random words instead of my own, but I pushed through and made something.
First, following the instructions, I cropped my image. Next, I got rid of the blemishes on my face using the Spot Healing Brush Tool. Next, I made a color layer and gave my image greater contrast and more vivid colors. Next, I gave the color layer a film grain filter. Next I made a new layer named dots, and I made a yellow border. Next, I made a small black border inside the yellow border. Then, I made two boxes on the top and bottom corners and followed the instructions giving them the colors they needed. Next, I followed what it said to do for the text and I typed the date and my name in the respective boxes. Finally I added drop shadows, and I was done.
